Madibeng's tourism material places the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre at De Wildt and Ukutula Lodge & Game Reserve within the municipality's wildlife offer. They are not the same type of venue: the cheetah centre has a dedicated conservation identity, while Ukutula is a lodge and game-reserve destination with its own programmes. Brits is identified as the seat of Madibeng Local Municipality.
